About Joseph Kwok

Joseph Kwok, R.S.W., Ph.D., J.P. is Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, City University of Hong Kong. He had been a member of the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee, which is the central advisory committee of Hong Kong SAR Government. He is currently a member of the Equal Opportunities Commission and Women's Commissions of HKSAR. He has also extensive involvement in disability movement in the Asia and Pacific Region. Among other regional activities, he is vice chair of Rehabilitation International Regional Committee for Asia and the Pacific, and a founder member of Regional NGO Network for the Promotion of Asia and Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons, 1993-2002.
