Its borderless nature and the ability to communicate effortlessly to potentially the whole world will ensure that it will be a growth sector for a long time to come. Because it involves using the mind, and permits work by telecommuting or distance, it is a part of the economy that is particularly relevant for persons with disabilities. It levels the playing field in many ways.
Rule 7 says that the right to equal employment opportunities is key and that States must recognize that the exercise by persons with disabilities of this right is an essential aspect of overall human rights.
