Monitoring
Notes:
Monitoring centers on finding out whether people are accessing your information. There are two ways, one mechanical the other more active.
A hit counter is a piece of software attached to a server that notes each time a page has been accessed. This indicates that the page has been visited, but not for how long.
Asking visitors to login, sign a guestbook or send an e-mail is a more interactive way of obtaining information. Through this, feedback on the quality and usefulness of your information to those who are visiting can be obtained.
