Designing a Distance Collaboration Session

Purpose of the Session

The planning exercise should focus on some aspect of Internet Accessibility from the ASEAN perspective (e.g., low bandwidth in some ASEAN countries).

Technologies

The planning exercise should describe the technologies that will be utilized, such as text chat, desktop video conferencing, threaded discussion, listserv, and e-mail exchange.

Implementation Plan

The exercise should contain a step-by-step implementation plan that describes when the session will take place, how long it will last, who, if anyone, will be the moderator, and what will be done with the results (e.g., posted on the Web, analyzed for policy relevance, etc.).
