Narrated: “Electronic Mail or Email is now in the mainstream as a means to communicate. Billions of email messages are exchanged everyday. Unfortunately, some regions or countries do not have enough ‘bandwidth’ to handle email messages or their attachments. So, unsolicited mail or ‘junk mail’ is actually expensive for the recipients of these areas. There are also many hoaxes and chain letters that encourage sending useless mass mailings. Attachments are also not advisable, unless you’ve requested for it. If I send you a scanned photo of my family, you might not appreciate the long download time. I wouldn’t. Recently, attachments that contain computer viruses or worms also threaten networks with adequate bandwidth.”
