The first segment of this event, field study tours (2 days at the
beginning) will be organized and sponsored by the host organization for

Weather
The weather in Beijing in late October is clear. The average
temperature is 5 °C to 15°C. A long-sleeved jacket may be appropriate.
Generally speaking, rain is not expected at that time of the year in
Beijing. The meeting rooms are air-controlled.
Electricity
Electricity supply in China is 220 volts at 60 Hz. Participants are advised to check
the voltage before using appliances. It is recommended that participants bring converters
or adapters.
