The project budget supports an estimated 30 to 35 participants in their individual capacity, and personal care assistants as appropriate, who could include representatives of governmental bodies and organizations and academia as well as from major disability organizations, private or voluntary sectors, that have responsibilities and relevant experience in planning and development of mainstream policies, programmes and projects aimed at the advancement of persons with disabilities on the basis of equality.

Invited participants shall have personal knowledge or experience of disability. Participants should also have practical experience in governmental policy, programme or legislative-related activities concerning persons with disabilities or in similar areas of activity of non-governmental organizations, research centers and institutions as well as the private sector in Asia and the Pacific.
